Lunch with Kids: 8-16-16

It's going to be Ham something for sometime (including dinner and snacks). We got a big chunk of ham from Costco.....as in BIG as a cow's head BIG. I started with something easy.

Menu:
Ham Sandwich
Tatar Tots
Little greens of carrots

Lunch with Kids: 8-15-16

Another super easy meal. Instead of Chicken Nuggets.
I made a sandwich and left overs. I love left overs.

Menu:
Chicken Sandwich
Carrot and Fried Rice

Lunch with Kids: 8-11-16

Instead of hamburger and fries, sometimes you dig around the frig and do something different.
Here's my version of "brunch" burger.

Menu:
Brunch Burger (sausage patties, egg, and cheese)
Candied Yam

Lunch with Kids: 8-10-16

Two different kids have two different taste. Therefore, two different plates! How's that for rhyming? Ha, ha, ha.

Menu:
Mild Burrito and Hot Burrito

Lunch with Kids: 8-9-16

Presentation, presentation, presentation!
You would never guess how easy this meal was.

Menu:
Chocolate Jam Bagel
Fruit Salad
Cream Sauce Mac & Cheese

Lunch with Kids: 8-5-16

First time I have the kids for the summer. Normally I don't make lunch for myself so I thought it would be fun to post lunch meal I made for them. It's too bad I didn't start taking photo of them sooner but better now than never. :)

Menu:
Asian Style Tuna Sandwich
Pineapple
Mac & Cheese Casserole

Holiday Cookies

This year I made over 10 boxes of cookies to send out as gifts. They are mostly variety of sugar cookies and butter cookies. So the focus this year was more "decorative" cookies. However, it was still delicious.I got most of my recipes from my favorite cookie book "Christmas Cookies".
1. Creamy Christmas butter cookies
2. Butter Candy Cane Cookies
3. Coconut Dreams
4. Sugar Cookies
And from my stack of Cookie Magazines I've collected over the years.
5. Raspberry-Almond Shortbread Cookies (100 best cookies)
6. White Chocolate Chip Cookies
